According to The MT-52 Parts book, this is a BEARING: propeller shaft trunnion, assembly (round, non-flanged)
3-CR, 3-Dr, 4-CR Joint (1.125" diameter Cap)
These Caps Fit:
3 Speed Transmission in:
K-KB-1, K-KB-2 all Wheel Bases
K-KB-1-M, 102 and 113" Wheel Base,
K-KB-3 113 and 130" Wheel Base
(4-CR) 4 Speed Transmission in:
K-KB-1, K-KB-2, K-KB-3 all Wheel Bases
K-KB-3-M all Wheel Bases
There were 2, or 3 different grease caps used on each drive shaft. These are the Round cap U-bolted in place(captive). Your truck needs two of these for the front joint, two for the rear joint.
PLEASE NOTE: these caps are packed with grease that's been sitting in them for 60 years so you might want to clean out and re-pack the bearings before installation.
