| Detailed Description: |
This distributor cap fits the 1950-1956 6 cyl engines. It was used on both the 6 and 12 volt applications.
From 1957-1963 there were two options for distributor caps, the easiest way to tell is, the hight of the distributor cap, this one stands 2 1/2" tall from the distributor body to the top of the coil wire tower. If yours is taller, (about 3 1/2") you want SP16991, see the related parts at the bottom of this page. This cap is the correct part for Delco distributor number:
