These pliers are just the bees knees for removing the external retaining rings that are used to hold the bearings in the front and rear of manual transmissions! The rings that are used in 3, 4, and 5-speed transmissions that are used in all Scout 80 & 800, Scout II, Travelalls, pickups, and other models are a real bearcat to remove without these pliers. If you are considering rebuilding your transmission with one of our rebuild kits, do yourself a favor and get these pliers too. You will regret it if you don't!
Applications include, C, D, K, KB, L, R, S, W, A, B, C, D, S, AC, BC, Loadstar, Transtar, and many more. These also will work for other brands like Jeep, MoPar, Ford, and GM, as they used the same retaining clips too.
