According to The MT-52 Parts book, this is a BEARING: propeller shaft trunnion, assembly (flanged)
4-DR Joint (1.140" diameter Cap)
These Caps Fit:
4 Speed Transmissions in:
K-KB-1, K-KB-2 K-KB-3 all Wheel Bases
K-KB-4 113" Wheel Base,
*Requires 4 per vehicle: 2 on front joint, 2 on rear joint.
4 Speed Transmissions with torque tube drive shaft in:
K-KB-4, K-KB-5 135 thru 195" Wheel Base
*Requires 2 per vehicle
4 Speed Transmissions with duel joint conventional drive shaft
K-KB-4, K-KB-5 135 through 195" Wheel Base
*Require 6 per vehicle 4 for the front joint, 2 for the rear joint.
There were 2 or 3 different grease caps used on each drive shaft. These are the round caps that pressed in and/or u-bolted down.
PLEASE NOTE: These Caps are packed with grease that's been sitting in them for 60 years so you might want to clean out and re-pack the bearings before installation. |
